Inner Child Healing Programme | QLU by Dr. Newton Kondaveti

Inner Child Healing Programme

A child is born pure with vast potential, but unmet emotional needs shape their personality. Carl Jung's concept of the ‘child archetype’ explains how we act from child-like, parent-like, or adult-like ego states, influencing our behavior.

A child is born pure, joyful, and with immense potential. However, unmet emotional needs and traumatic experiences in early life can lead to emotional wounds that shape our personality and behavior. The Inner Child Healing Programme is based on Carl Jung’s concept of the ‘child archetype’, which emphasizes that unresolved childhood experiences often drive our adult emotional responses. By reconnecting with and nurturing the inner child, individuals can release past pain, reclaim their authenticity, and experience deeper emotional well-being.

  • To understand the role of the inner child in shaping adult emotions and behaviors.
  • To recognize childhood wounds and unmet emotional needs that affect present relationships.
  • To provide tools for nurturing, reparenting, and healing the wounded inner child.
  • To facilitate emotional release and self-compassion through guided practices.
  • To promote a more balanced and integrated personality by connecting with the child, adult, and parent ego states.
  • Guided meditations and visualizations to connect with the inner child.
  • Expressive writing and drawing exercises to uncover childhood memories and emotions.
  • Role-play and voice dialogue techniques to engage with different ego states.
  • Reparenting practices to provide the inner child with love, safety, and validation.
  • Group sharing circles for mutual support and understanding.
  • Mindfulness and emotional release techniques for processing suppressed feelings.

This programme is open to anyone above the age of 15 with a willingness to explore their emotional world and heal past wounds. No prior experience in therapy or meditation is required. However, individuals with severe psychiatric conditions such as schizophrenia, dissociative identity disorder, or active suicidal ideation are advised to consult a mental health professional before joining.
