QLU Campus Guidelines

QLU campus is a sacred power spot. Please respect the space. It is like an ashram with simple facilities and amenities. Every moment here is an opportunity to know our true selves. Please utilise this opportunity graciously. Kindly follow these guidelines to facilitate your personal transformation.

Silent Zone
Silent Zone Hours

The campus is designated as a silent zone from 9 PM to 6 AM. Please maintain silence during these hours.

Respect Space
Respect each other's space

Seeking photos with others or forced interactions are discouraged. Respect others' personal space by being mindful of their comfort zones and avoiding intrusive questions or actions. Respect the personal space, be it another human in the campus or simple creatures in the nature.

Be Conscious of Your Environment

Save Energy

Please be mindful of your usage of the resources like water, food and electricity. Please do not waste the resources.

Vegetarian

ONLY VEGETARIAN food is allowed on campus. Please respect that.

No Smoking

The entire campus is a
NO SMOKING, NO TOBACCO
and NO ALCOHOL zone.

Be mindful of your movements

Group

Pay attention to how you move during group activities, promoting a sense of unity.

Walk Out

Going out of the Living area is allowed only when accompanied by QLU team members, that too only for a scheduled program.

Dining Hall Guidelines

Serving Food

Take only as much as you can comfortably eat. This will help to stay active for the next session and reduces food wastage.

Clean Table

Please maintain cleanliness. Clean up the place after you finish so that it's ready for the next person.

Grateful Eating

Most importantly, while eating, savor each bite with utmost gratitude.

Trash Disposal

Throw the waste only in the trash cans and not in the wash basins.

Wash Utensils

Wash the utensils neatly after use, just the way we would like at home, and keep them organized in their rightful places.

Punctuality

Timing and schedule need to be strictly maintained for all the programs.

Be open and receptive

While interacting with masters or sharing in the group, be mindful, short, clear, specific and direct to the point. Speak less, listen more. All our questions will be answered during the class if we listen mindfully.

Be committed
Be committed to activities

Do not skip any part of the program. Everything is beneficial even though sometimes our mind may resist. Break your inner barriers and surrender to the curriculum.

Confidentiality
Maintain confidentiality

During the programs, participants may share some personal information along with their experiences. Refrain from asking for more, leave it then and there and carry just the wisdom from their sharing.

Dormitory Guidelines


Switch off

Please switch off the lights and fans after use.

Trash

Throw the waste only in trash cans.

Quiet

Do not disturb your fellow participants either by speaking loudly, or in any other way.

Bed

Make sure to keep your bed neat and clean at all times. Please fold your blanket and clothes and keep them in order.

Belongings

Take complete responsibility for your own belongings. QLU will not be responsible for your belongings.

Wake up

Volunteers will ring the bell and turn on the lights at 4:15 am to wake you up. Lights will be turned off by 9 pm, indicating the time for silence and rest.

Locker

Please do not leave your belongings in bathrooms or on your beds. In case you don’t need them, please throw them in the Trash can.

Please check your belongings before you leave the campus. We will not be able to send them to you later.

Bathroom/Toilet Guidelines


Flush

Please flush after use.
In case the flush doesn’t work, please pour water from the bucket.

Clean Bathroom

Wash the bathroom after use so the next person can feel as comfortable as you did.

Switch Off

Kindly ensure that all lights and water taps are turned off completely after you finish.

Sanitary

Do Not flush Sanitary napkins or tissues.
Please throw them in the trash can.
